Paris Engagement Shoot

For the past month, I've been traveling, sightseeing and most importantly, eating my way through Europe. Between trains, buses, and planes we've managed to hit Amsterdam, Geneva, Annecy, Lyon, Paris, and Valencia. I love how visiting Europe challenges me as a photographer. The unique landscapes and centuries-old architecture always make me want to pull out my camera at any given moment.

One of my goals while traveling was to at least get one or two engagement or engagement style shoots at an iconic European location. So when Daljit and Prab messaged me that they would be traveling to Paris the same week as I was and wanted to celebrate their 2 year anniversary with a photo shoot at The Louvre, I was all for it.

Daljit and Prab were great sports about meeting up despite the less-than-ideal elements we faced. We met up at sunrise to ensure that we weren't swarmed by tourists armed with selfie sticks. Since it was the dead of winter, we endured near-freezing temperatures and a strong wind coming off The River Seine.  Nevertheless, Daljit and Prab were all smiles. We also lucked out by having clear skies and some incredible light cast by the morning sun. 

I'm all smiles myself now that I get to cross off my bucket list doing a photo shoot at The Louvre. When it comes to dreamy locations that you want to photograph or to have your photo taken at, what's on your bucket list?
