What did you love about having your engagement session at Joshua Tree National Park?

The views, scenery, and overall vibe was simply magical. We felt so lucky to be able to shoot there and we knew that Kai truly appreciated the location and its settings as well

Tell me how you two met!

We met through Bumble! After several months of just chatting on text, Ryan was Diem's first-ever date via an app - a Lifetime rom-com in the making!

What makes your relationship special? What do you love about each other?

At a foundational level, share the same values - family, faith, and fun. This makes our relationship special because we are positive, tolerant, and goofy people that love to make memories for and with others. We are each other's cheerleader/ride-or-die and deeply know that we bring out the best in each other in all ways - whether it's chasing the next career-high, shamelessly dancing, or being the best son/daughter/brother/sister/aunt/uncle/friend to our loved ones.

I know the wedding is on hold because of Covid, but what are you both looking forward to celebrating most on your wedding day?

So many things! The merging of our respective sides in one place, getting married in the church that Diem's parents took her to as a child and sharing that space and experience with loved ones, seeing everyone together having a blast celebrating our love and the love of others around us!
